How we prepare turbocharger to remanufacturing?
1. At the beginnig, before remanufacture of any turbocharger in our company, we are collecting all informations about it. It helps us to get a know the type and size of damage or causes of malfunction.
2. Then, we are checking the turbocharger’s mechanical damage (If there are any)
3. After that, every impurities are UV-bathing and the turbocharger is externally cleaned.
4. Glass bead blasting is the last procces of preparing to remanufacture. -
Remanufacturing – how it looks like?
1. Necessary parts responsible for proper work of the turbocharger are replaced with new ones: disc, thermal plate, rotor with shaft, compression wheel, complete repair kit.
2. Installation of the core, leakage control, delivery of the compressor, and then installation of the turbocharger core with the casing
3. The last process is an appropriate calibration of the variable geometry mechanism and the actuator and then handing over the regenerated turbocharger to the control department. -
How does the control of the regenerated turbocharger look like?
We make every effort to ensure that the repaired turbochargers in our company are of brand new quality. For this purpose, each turbocharger, after the regeneration process is completed, is verified by the quality control department.
For this purpose we use the CIMAT TURBOTEST device (which dynamically checks the charge pressure and the correct flow of exhaust gases through a variable geometry – comparing the results to brand new parameters).
